Crackdown on Tattoos in the Military

For years, certain tattoos had been overlooked by the branches of the U.S. military. That has changed recently.

There are now new military restrictions placed on body art. All tattoos visible on the neck or face, and tattoos that extend below the elbows and knees are no longer permitted. This includes any tattoo that could be considered offensive or obscene.
